Regional Pupil Voice

We believe that our pupils should have a say in making decisions in our academy. As a Rights Respecting School all pupils have the right to have their opinion heard and have a say in their learning, health and wellbeing.  The following pupil voice opportunities take place within our Academy:

OAT Regional Pupil Voice

Elections for the Regional Pupil Voice are held every February. Pupils from years 4 and 5 can nominate themselves for election and spend one week promoting themselves throughout the academy ready to deliver speeches to KS2. Members are then selected via a secret ballot in which all pupils vote. The votes are then sent to the academy trust to be counted ready for announcement. Pupil Voice students work closely with OAT and other OAT academies across England generating ideas and discussing projects to implement into the academy. Regional Pupil Voice pupils meet half termly with Mrs Miles alongside OAT enrichment leads.
