What is Reflection?

For the children’s first term we have chosen the topic ‘What is a reflection?’ Children will use a range of mirrors and materials to stimulate curiosity, understanding and knowledge about reflections and symmetry. Children will be encouraged to look closely at themselves, their peers and their families to help them to recognise they are all unique. We feel this topic will give the children and ourselves the opportunities to get to know each other through sharing ideas and conversation. Children will begin to understand that playing and working together can help them get on better; build good relationships and develop thinking.
