Events, trips and residentials

We offer many exciting opportunities for pupils to go on various trips and residentials throughout their time at OSPA. Our creative curriculum always begins with a ‘memorable moment’ which is usually a trip or event to a place linked to the topic. This year events and trips have included a Tudor Re-enactment Workshop, Minibeast Day and visits to Tattershall Castle, Eden Camp, The Deep and The National Holocaust Centre.

Pupils have the opportunity to go on the following residential trips:

  • Year 3: 2 night camping trip to Cherry Garth in Humberston (through Outdoor Learning)
  • Year 4: 1 night stay in a YHA hostel in the Peak District
  • Year 5: 4 night stay in a YHA hostel in the Lake District
(Year 4 and 5 residentials are supported by local professionals Associated British Ports; Grainthorpe, Wilkin & Chapman Solicitors)
  • Year 6: 3 night stay at PGL Caythorpe Court in Grantham or 4 night stay in the Lake District
